    This guy flip flopped between the truth and a loyalty to the Clintons, and because of that he lost his connection to both, and ended up getting fired by even his next boss. This book was tossed together in record time while he’s even still relevant, and is a cash grab and by a recently fired guy, and not a well thought through memoir about a career built on integrity. Sad.

    This book was amazing. Interestingly, trump and Clinton are really only a footnote-the main focus on this book is about ethical leadership, honesty, and the importance of an independent FBI. It’s unfortunate that the main meaning behind this book will be lost in the noise of politics -I’ve been in the corporate world most of my adult life and I think any corporation who actually believes in a positive work culture should make this book required reading. Side note-on the Hillary and trump stuff, Comey did make a compelling argument that he thought rationally through an extraordinary set of circumstances that no one has ever faced before in his position. He was thoughtful-and I agree with him-given the situation, his hands were tied. If he didn’t say something about reopening the investigation, in this climate, the FBI could have been completely dismantled. Comey is a true hero. Comey will make you laugh and cry, but more importantly, I have a new respect for the brave men and women in the FBI and the organization as a whole. One of the laugh out loud moments I remember best: “No, they hand write each line” You have to read the book in order to understand why this is so freaking hilarious.

    I was very curious to read this book and see Mr. Comey’s viewpoint on many subjects. I was impressed by his candor, his observations and his core values. Media coverage seems to criticize his opinions or observations, calling into question is true integrity. I view it a little differently. I see it as an insight into his thoughts during each of those times. I don’t necessarily see it as a political viewpoint he has. For example: we all think something about our bosses or someone in our lives in a position of power. We think something about them, but our body language and words we use are different. The media saying these thoughts were unnecessary. I think he did this throughout the entire book, which remained consistent through each phase of his life. He provided facts and then gave his insight so we could understand his thought process. This wasn’t just saved for the last few chapters (The Trump chapters). Bravo, Mr. Comey! I enjoyed reading your book and appreciate all you have done for America throughout the years.
